plasma-widget-amule software package provides kde plasmoid to control amule, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-widget-amule
plasma-widget-amule is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-widget-amule package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-widget-amule *
You will get with plasma-widget-amule package name, version, architecture and description in a table
